Recently I joined Shine, Yahoo's Social Network.. I was writing about turning 46 years old and how it has seemed to affect me in some ways..... While writing this post I had a profound thought..
Turning 46 for some strange twisted reason has turned into some horrible milestone, some negative monumental event in my life..believe me... I wonder what the heck I am whining about...I should be thankful for every breath that I take.
But really I was thinking about time..and how quickly it goes by..and before you know it...your grand kids graduate from college..and you really hope to live to see that day! Twisted thoughts maybe..but I admit..they've been mine.
60 seconds equals a minute for everyone at any age right?
But it seems there comes a certain point in people's lives where they think time seems to move faster...
Ever Wonder Why?
As I was writing my first post on Yahoo's Shine..I came up with this theory..and let's see if agree or disagree with my conclusion...
-
"To stop and smell the roses-Really appreciate what you have and notice it and take time to experience it..that moment..you will never get back..the clock always ticks and we continue to move forward. Time moves the same..but in a sense time moves faster..when you start to realize your time on the planet is very limited..you start to think of mortality....morality...and humanity..and you start to ponder..What have I done to make a difference in this planet? For me I seem to move faster..my thoughts..my words and my actions..time is flying by... and moving much faster than 10 years ago.. There is a sense of urgency that I feel because of age and time and I believe the urgency is why time seems to move faster as you get older."
Does it feel like time is moving faster? If so...don't waste it!
