Today I attended the Legal Forum for the Daytona Beach Area Association of REALTORS at Indigo Lakes Golf and Country Club.
An interesting discussion over
• Standard of Practice 1-15-
"Realtors®, in response to inquiries from buyers or cooperating brokers shall, with the Sellers's approval, disclose the existence of offers on the property. Where disclosure is authorized, Realtors® shall also disclose whether offers were obtained by the listing licensee, another licensee in the listing firm, or by a cooperating broker. (Adopted 1/03, Amended 1/06)"
It was interesting to hear people's opinion on this standard of The Code Of Ethics..it got me thinking probably Foreclosure Properties would benefit the most and it could might help in increasing or maintaining property value in a particular subdivision. What do you think and do you practice this? Do you thinking spilling the beans will create a "bidding war" or will the potential buyer just walk away?
