There are days where I just want to scream, SHUT UP!
That's right...Shut Up and listen to yourself...
Rather than complain about everything wrong on the planet.... take a minute and listen to what messages you send! I know many people like this...and they don't realize...the cause and effect that occurs!
It's like a disease...spreading...infecting...and the next thing you know...someone else is joining in the conversation!
Yesterday while going through my email...a question was posed to me....Should I stay or should I go now?
My response was..don't listen to others if the company and it's programs are working for you...you have to pay attention to the benefits and sometimes... put those rose colored glasses on!
Focus on what works for you!
In our industry and when times are tough...sometimes folks focus on all the problems..these folks have the weight on their shoulders..and won't hesitate to have you help carry or even transfer the load on to you... They would rather wallow...complain...gripe..and talk....even if you are extremely busy.
Sometimes folks choose to zero in on what others are saying without paying attention to their own thoughts...ideas and dreams! No I am not talking blogging or media for that matter....but conversations...and it most instances between friends...co-workers and peers!
That could put a damper on your mood or affect the production for the day!
When someone chats with you...and tries to tear you down or get you to join their negative bandwagon...get up and excuse yourself although for myself it's not enough and in truth I think to myself....SHUT UP..Midori consider the source or I blurt not now.. and that's when I put my rose colored glasses on and walk away! Do you need a pair?
