I recently went to the health food store as a matter of fact...I am there at least 2 times a month...its costly...but effective...and then I did some homework yesterday...I could buy identical products on line and save hundreds a dollars a month. Same product...less money...cutting out the retailer.
We recently upgraded our computers...and where did the upgrades come from?
On line..We rarely go to the mall.
When I think about where we buy our computers...online...
Computer parts..cameras...makeup..on line..its convenient...in most cases less expensive and I like it delivered to me.
Pet meds, contact lenses on-line...heck we are looking for a car..on line...
I watch the latest of movies on-line...old shows and new shows on-line...we don't have cable television..because we don't need it...we can view anything from our computer on our T.V. Screen.
Our economy is changing because the world is changing and included in the changes its the way we shop and the way many view the value of a dollar!
As jobs are cut...maybe we are making it worse..by trying to make the dollar stretch and for some have no other choice but to shop on line due to convenience, because of price..and due to the value of a dollar.
These store closures were inevitable and I saw it coming and I believe there will be many more...
Because the world is changing...I know I say it all the time..but think about your spending habits and where does your hard earned dollars go...in a store...or at your convenience by shopping online?
When I think about the purchases I have made for my business...business cards..on-line...printing on line...Internet tools...on-line. Are you part of the local economy problem? As shameful as it sounds... I admit...I am!
